Our Virtual Assistant Philippines Office is underway!

I hope your 2014 is coming to a strong finish – it has been a wild ride here for us here at VA Staffer. Like every business, we had growing pains, and many of you grew with us. Every day is an opportunity to learn more and expand knowledge – which of course is the most valuable thing on this Earth, no matter the time of year.

I wanted to personally wish you all a great 2015 and let you know about my New Year’s Resolution. January 30th the remodeling will be completed and keys handed over for our first ever VA Staffer branch office in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. It’s an exciting time here, it’s 2300 square feet of pure awesomeness right in the heart of the business district in the Philippines. With that said, it’s also in a “Flood Safe Zone” and has a dedicated 5MBPS internet connection, very rare in the Philippines and a critical need since Typhoons affected our remote team twice in 2014 (thankfully all was safe and well).

Honestly, setting up a corporation in the Philippines is a challenge, and I want to thank the VA Staffer Team for taking ownership of working on this so I can fly in and finalize it. Deep in my heart, I knew this was going to happen sooner or later, so when the opportunity presented itself the only risk I worried about is not taking action. The office has a great workflow and it will give our team the safety and security needed to develop daytime support USA timezones. You shared, we listened. We understand that providing day time support is a top priority for you. We’ve made this change in an effort to accommodate your request.

We have already scheduled four interviews for when I set foot in the Philippines early February, and from now on ALL positions filled will be in our Makati office to offer you all reliable staff in an awesome work environment.

I wish you all a fast recovery from your Christmas shopping, and a prosperous 2015. Please send your prayers this way as we embark on probably one of the biggest decisions I’ve had to make.
